Kimberly was born March 23, 1975 to Rev. Jesse Adcox and Virginia. She grew up in Coker, Alabama alongside her two older brothers. In 1997, she married now-retired Tuscaloosa Police officer, Lt. Perry Madison and made their home in Northport, Alabama where they continue to live today. She is a proud mother to three amazing young men.
  • I am a Christian
  • I want to restore the balance of power between local governments and the citizens of our district.
  • Responsible Urban Development and Maintenance
Protecting the U.S. Constitution, education, repairing and improving existing aging infrastructure are issues that require our attention now more than ever.

Rural areas in Tuscaloosa and Pickens Counties need affordable but dependable access to the internet.

As our communities and neighborhoods grow, cities need scalability to meet future demands placed on utility services. We need development without the destruction of our watersheds, wetlands and waterways which can result in devastating floods, Federal restrictions and expensive fines.

Finally, the citizens of District 61 deserve greater transparency, oversight and accountability from local elected officials.
I look up to Jesus Christ because His Truth is simple: love your fellow man.
Honesty, a working moral compass, transparency, curiosity, humility, a strong work ethic and an authentic ambition to make lives better.
Honesty, humility and an unwavering dedication to the people of the district that shaped every facet of my life.
To listen and adhere to the will of the people who have chosen an individual to represent them.
One that illustrates the love of Jesus Christ.
My first vivid memory of a significant historical event is the Challenger disaster when I was 11. After the explosion, our teacher led us back to our room, turned the lights off and asked us to put our heads down for a few moments while she cried quietly into her hands.
My very first job was babysitting which I enjoyed the honor of for almost two years.
Two legislative branches working with the governor to make decisions efficiently in all respects for the Alabama people.
Attempts to redefine or limit our inalienable rights, healthcare, education, increased housing demand and population growth, crumbling infrastructure, and inflation.
As history has proven, those in power rarely relinquish willingly even with a bicameral body. A single legislative chamber would offer few, if any, checks and balances designed to prevent the will of the People from being circumvented.
Yes! There is so much diversity throughout Alabama including natural resources, agriculture, industry, and even concerns. Having an open, respectful and adaptive relationship with other legislators is critical to ensuring success for Alabamians.
None at this time, but I'm a willing volunteer if called upon to serve in any capacity that impacts the quality of life for our citizens.
Our current representative has done an amazing job of securing critical funds for many of our smaller cities. I hope to continue and expand upon his legacy of working with local leaders to secure resources they desperately need.
I've heard hundreds of stories from lives changed throughout our district as a result of devastating flooding that proper mitigation and maintenance could have largely prevented.
Yes. Legislators should oversee, grant and above all, limit the use of emergency powers.
Compromise is necessary if the desirable goal benefits people and not politicians.
