My name is Kimo Mateo. Kimo, pronounced (Key-mo), is a Hawaiian name meaning James. I was born and raised here in California. I am not a politician. I am a working class, father and husband who loves this beautiful state and country. At the forefront of my values are God, Family, and Community. I am a conservative and registered Republican. Many good Californians have fled our state over the past couple years due to bad policies, heavy regulations, and unaffordable living conditions amongst many other issues brought on by the Left. I am not going anywhere, this is my home and I am here to stay and fight for my family and yours! After all, what kind of a father would I be to show my two sons that you run in the face of adversity? I am here to be an example to them and the residents of District 22 that we aren’t going to run from a fight, we are going to win back our state and our freedom! Power belongs to the people, not the government. Vote for me with confidence, knowing that I will always put God first, defend our Constitution, and protect the future of our families. Together we can do anything! We are one nation, under God, and indivisible with liberty and justice for all!
