Kina Collins (Democratic Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Illinois' 7th Congressional District. She lost in the Democratic primary on March 19, 2024.

Biography

Collins studied international political economy at Carthage College and sociology at Louisiana State University. As of her 2020 campaign, Collins’ professional experience included working as a regional organizer at Generation Progress, founding the Chicago Neighborhood Alliance, and working as a national organizer for the Physicians for a National Health Program.[1]
