King County Superior Court judge announces retirement
June 3, 2010
Washington: Judge Paris Kallas will leave the King County Superior Court in July 2010, in the middle of her term. Kallas is leaving to work at Judicial Dispute Resolutions, LLC "allow[ing] a closer relationship with parties and council as they try to resolve their civil disputes," according to Kallas.[1] Because she is leaving the court early, Governor Chris Gregoire will be responsible for appointing a replacement for the judge.[1]
