I am a lifelong Chicagoan and a Democratic candidate for Illinois State Representative in the 4th District. I have spent the past 15 years living in and raising my family in the district, and I bring real-world leadership experience from executive and community-based work outside of government. Growing up in a working-class household shaped my understanding of how policy decisions affect everyday families, not in theory, but in practice. My approach to public service is grounded in practical problem-solving, fiscal responsibility, and accountability. I am focused on policies that strengthen neighborhood stability, improve affordability, and ensure government works transparently and effectively for the people it serves.
  • Affordability and neighborhood stability matter. I support expanding attainable housing, protecting longtime residents, and providing targeted property-tax relief so families can remain in the communities they helped build.
  • Government should be guided by evidence, measurable outcomes, transparency, and accountability. Taxpayers deserve policies that deliver results, not programs that continue without clear proof of effectiveness.
  • Strong public schools and youth opportunity are essential to long-term stability. I support improving literacy, expanding career and technical pathways, and ensuring students are prepared for good-paying jobs and a stable future in Illinois.
I am most passionate about policies that strengthen everyday life for families, including housing affordability, strong public schools, access to mental health care, and responsible governance. I believe stable neighborhoods begin with secure housing, well-supported students, and government focused on transparency, accountability, and real outcomes. My priority is ensuring public dollars are spent wisely and that policies deliver measurable improvements in quality of life for the people of the 4th District
