Kirsten E. Thompson was a judge on the Washington County Circuit Court in Oregon. The court has jurisdiction over Washington County and is located within the 20th Judicial District.[1] Governor John Kitzhaber (D) appointed Thompson in March 2002. Thompson was reelected in 2014.[2][3][4][5] She retired February 1, 2019.[6]

Thompson earned her B.A. in political studies and Spanish from Whitworth College in 1980. She earned her J.D. from Lewis and Clark Law School in 1984.[7][8][9]
