Kittitas County Park District Bond & Levy Measures, 2 (November 2010)

Two Kittitas County Park District Bond & Levy Measures were on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the park district of Kittitas County.

Both measures were defeated
Bond Measure:

  • YES 1,694 (47.04%)
  • NO 1,907 (52.96%)Defeatedd

Levy Measure:

  • YES 1,627 (45.45%)
  • NO 1,6953 (54.55%)Defeatedd[1]

The bond measure sought to create a bond in the amount of $10 million in order to help construct a new recreational facility including a gym and pool.

The levy measure sought to implement a regular tax set at a rate of $.25 per $1,000 of assessed property value in order to help pay for maintenance and operational costs of district facilities.[2]
