Kris Vanderman was a Republican candidate for District 46 of the Pennsylvania State Senate. The primary election was on May 18, 2010 and the general election was on November 2, 2010.

Vanderman was unopposed in the May 18 Republican primary but lost to Democrat Timothy Solobay in the November 2 general election.[1]

Campaign themes

2010

Vanderman's campaign website identified three main issues:

  • He "has signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge, promising to oppose any effort to increase taxes."
  • He "believes that job creation was a top priority. He will work hard to improve our economy by cutting taxes and slashing government spending."
  • He "will work for you to put an end to government-paid perks, pension grabs and pay raises."
