Raised in Stark County, I am a change agent, collaborator, and servant leader. For over 20 years, I have held leadership roles at the state, county, and local levels in family and community engagement, academic and non-academic supports, and DEI&B. I serve in various capacities in Stark County, including volunteering at food bank ministries, leading at my church and women’s organizations, serving on multiple boards, and vesting in community-wide conversations on equity. Numerous organizations have recognized my energy, leadership, work ethic, and authenticity. I have a passion for people and believe that implementing fair and equitable systems is the best way to ensure opportunities for everyone. I will be on the November 2024 ballot as the Democratic candidate for the Ohio House of Representatives District 49.

  • Seek Common Ground and Work Together.
  • Be Accountable to YOU!
It is critical for me to ensure that key issues, such as Women’s Health Rights, Constitutional Rights, such as Fair Maps and One Vote for One Person, Union Rights, and Environmental Protections are fortified. Based on my interactions with voters thus far, I have identified three areas of focus that will receive immediate attention: Education, Workforce, and Health Care. I will advocate for policies that will ensure violence-free, safe school environments free from bullying and harassment, as well as the promotion and support for our public schools and educators. I will work to bring livable wage jobs to my constituents, and I will work to close the health-care disparities, including mental health treatment, for my constituents.
"Whenever you are engaged in work that serves humanity and is for the building of humanity, it has dignity, and it has worth." Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Respect (for our system, colleagues, and the people we serve), Integrity, Accountability, Communication (listening and learning), Transparency, Collaboration, and Servanthood
As a leader, I believe that I have the responsibility to leave every activity and interaction I have better than I found them. After I talk with people, I want them to feel good about our interaction. As an educator, I want to make sure that I help create something that will impact students today and the next generation. As a mom, I want to help open as many doors for my children to thrive and be good citizens.
