Kristen Mickey appointed to County Court

Nebraska: Kristen Mickey was appointed to an open position as County Court judge for the 12th Judicial District on August 2, 2010. He was one of four attorneys who applied for the position formerly held by the retired Judge G. Glenn Camerer.[1] The 41-year-old lawyer is a partner of the law firm of Sorensen, Mickey and Hahn, which he joined in 1995. He has also worked as a Scotts Bluff County special prosecutor and a Banner County Deputy Attorney. Gov. Heineman, who made the appointment, said, "Mr. Mickey’s experience makes him well-suited for the bench."[2]
