Kristen Mix
Kristen L. Mix was a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. She was appointed to this position on August 6, 2007, and retired on August 5, 2023.[1][2]
Education
Judge Mix began her career in 1980 as a high school American history teacher. She then returned to school and graduated from the University of Colorado Law School in 1985.[1]
Law Career
Judge Mix began her legal career as a commercial litigator. She worked with multiple law firms in Denver and focused on labor and employment law. Most recently, she worked for Snell & Wilmer. She joined the district court in 2007.[1]
