Biography
Baker and her husband own A. H. Baker Services, Inc., a construction company that does work in the civil construction field. They attend church at Wildwood United Methodist Church. Baker earned her bachelor's degree in journalism from Texas A&M University.[1]

Three of the seven seats on the Magnolia Independent School District school board were scheduled for by-district general election on May 6, 2017. However, the election was canceled due to lack of opposition. Position 2 incumbent Sonja Ebel, Position 4 incumbent Kristi Baker, and Position 5 incumbent Joe Duncan were automatically re-elected.[2]
