An effort in Springfield, Missouri, to recall City Councilwoman Kristi Fulnecky from her position was launched in April 2017. Recall organizer Bon Tindle initiated the recall effort as part of a group called Recall Kristi Fulnecky.[1]

Recall supporters

Tindle argued that Fulnecky should have been recalled because of her criticisms of fellow city council members and failure to obtain a business license between 2008 and 2015.[2] The recall was also initiated due to Fulnecky's opposition to a city pilot program that uses buses to connect panhandlers with the Missouri Career Center.[1]
