I have long been an advocate for seniors and caregivers and this remains a public policy concern of mine. I am also highly concerned that bills are being plucked from special interest platforms from who knows where (not always easy to track) without any evidence that the intent is to fix a PROBLEM in Maine and often with no forethought regarding downstream consequences. I intend to do my homework, seek input from my constituency, and ask the hard questions.
