Kristin Middleton was an at-large representative of the Kyrene School District Governing Board, serving from 2014 to 2018, at which time her term expired. She first won election to the office in the November 4, 2014, general election.

Middleton graduated from Desert Vista High School and has a bachelor's degree from Arizona State University. She served in the U.S. Navy Reserves. At the time of her 2014 election bid, she served on the Ahwatukee Village Planning Committee and the American Foundation for Cardiomyopathy. At that time, she was employed by Nationstar Mortgage.[1][2]

Two incumbents, Beth Brizel and Bernadette Coggins, had terms expiring in December 2014. Coggins ran for re-election, but Brizel did not file to run in the election. Coggins was joined on the ballot by Allison Ewers, Gary Guisto and Kristin Middleton.

Incumbent Coggins and newcomer Middleton won the general election.[3]

Funding

Middleton reported $955.00 in contributions and $662.29 in expenditures to the Maricopa County Recorder's office, which left her campaign with $292.71 on hand.[4]
