Collapse all
|A fourth generation Coloradan, Kristin understands the yearning to return to true freedom in land use, water rights, and way-of-life. What works best in urban settings is not best for rural Colorado. The daughter of a coal miner, Kristin is deeply connected to Colorado’s continuing role in energy production. She understands mining is an integral part of our past, and imperative to our future success.
Kristin recognizes the need to not only diversify our rural economies, but also to protect the vast open spaces that make the 3rd district free. This is a fine balancing act requiring buy in and collaboration from all who inhabit these lands.
Kristin listens. She empathizes. She uses the information at her disposal to create real-world solutions for real-world problems. Kristin is a Coloradan – just like you.
- KEEP THE WEST WILD: Our way of life here in the third district is special. It deserves protection and celebration. This is home to the most beautiful landscapes, very wonderful people, and a bounty of natural resources. Our hard rural shell protects a soft gooey center of scenic resort towns. We thrive best when we can live in synchronicity, when our blue-collar communities have the autonomy to manage their own resources, and our destination communities can safely and effectively funnel tourists and employees to their cities. Kristin understands this. By improving our existing railway infrastructure and adding new lines, we can deliver goods and peoples across snowy terrain and begin to restore the wild west back to a new age of glory.
- FREEDOM: Freedom is the backbone of our democracy. Spineless bureaucrats would love to see it ripped from every man, woman, and child who refuse to conform to their vision of the model citizen. It is time to take back our rights from these radical oppressors. The 9th Amendment of the Constitution guarantees the retention of innate freedoms to the people. Kristin will fight for all of your liberties, those you currently have and those you are being denied. Those freedoms include but are not limited to the right to receive appropriate healthcare, the right to be who you are, and the right to make a living as you see fit.
- UNITY: There are bushels of resources being spent to wedge a divide between common people. Our diversity in beliefs and culture is being farcically exaggerated and weaponized against us. The truth is, your neighbor is not your enemy. We must come together and eschew extreme division from all sides. The problem lies in polarizing propaganda put out by the major political parties. Together, we can begin to change the system. Vote independent to unite around our shared values and community strength.
