Biography
Kristina Garvey graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in 2002. She earned a B.S. in recreation and an M.S. in recreation and sports administration from Western Kentucky University in 2006 and 2007, respectively. Garvey's career experience includes working as an assistant county attorney and a law clerk with the Jefferson County Attorney's Office.[1]

The judges of the Kentucky District Courts are elected in nonpartisan elections. They serve four-year terms and must run for re-election if they wish to serve again.[2][3]
Qualifications
To serve on this court, a judge must be:[2]
- a U.S. citizen;
- a resident of the represented district for at least two years; and
- licensed to practice law for at least two years.

I have the experience, temperament and qualities to make a great judge.

Yes, having experience in the courtroom and conference rooms is very important.
