I have been a proud resident of Hazel Park for more than 20 years and have actively served our community in various volunteer roles with both the city and the school district. From 2017 to 2022, I had the honor of serving on the Hazel Park Board of Education before resigning to accept a position within the district.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and bring over 20 years of management experience in the automotive industry, where I have held positions in customer service, sales, purchasing, and operations.

As a lifelong community member and parent, I have raised two children in Hazel Park, one who graduated this past May and one who began high school this fall. My deep roots in the city and professional background have strengthened my commitment to serving and improving our community.
  • Hazel Par needs to stay attractive to our new residents, and it’s not enough to attract we need to retain. I feel the retention is where HP is failing. We need more activities that keep families and the youth in town.
  • The same people in power for an infinite amount of time is never a good thing. It’s time for a fresh perspective, and I’m ready to be that person.
  • I don’t feel we as the voters and residents are getting the whole picture of where our money is being spent. I want our tax payers to understand where every penny goes.
I am deeply committed to supporting strong public schools, ensuring every student has access to safe, high-quality learning environments, and providing resources that help educators and students thrive.

I believe in strengthening Hazel Park’s local economy through small business support, responsible development, and community partnerships that create opportunity for residents.

I support policies that prioritize public safety, mental health resources, and collaborative community policing to keep our neighborhoods safe and welcoming.

I value open communication, inclusive decision-making, and civic engagement that empowers all residents to have a voice in shaping Hazel Park’s future.
I look up to my parents. They were part of a committe to close down a strip club in the middle of where I grew up in Ferndale. They believed that the town they were raising their children in deserved better. Once that place closed down, Ferndale experienced a growth and expansion of their downtown area and it became a more desierable place to be.
Transparency and accountability to the residnets of Hazel Park.
The Challenger explosion. I was about 6 and I remember watching it happen on TV in school.
I was a cashier at a local grocery store. I worked there for about a year before I found out I could make more money waitressing.
