Kurt Benson is a former juvenile court magistrate for the Bradley County Juvenile Court. He retired from the bench in April 2017.

Benson attended the University of North Carolina-Charlotte and Eastern Kentucky University and earned his J.D. from the University of Tennessee.

Benson's professional experience includes work in private practice, as an instructor of criminal justice law at Cleveland State Community College, as a child support attorney for the Tennessee Department of Human Services, and as an attorney for Policy Studies Inc. He also served in the U.S. Air Force.
