Kurt Swaim
Kurt Swaim is a former Democratic member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing District 94 from 2003 to 2013.
Swaim has been an Attorney in Private Practice since 1981. He previously worked as Senior Staff Attorney for the Legal Services Corporation of Iowa from 1978-1981, and an Attorney for Lundy, Butler, Wilson & Hall from 1975-1978.
He is a member of the Bloomfield United Methodist Church, and President/Treasurer of the Lions Club Masons.[1]

On November 4, 2008, Swaim was re-elected to the 94th District Seat in the Iowa House of Representatives, defeating Howard E. Hubbard (R).[3] Swaim raised $32,810 for his campaign, while Hubbard raised $0.[4]
