It’s time for a new generation of public service, a generation of citizen-leaders who believe that we can make our country a little better then we found it for our kids generation. When elected, at 35 years of age, I will be the youngest person in state history to represent Indiana House District 46. Learn more at www.kurtisforindiana.com
- Rooted in Hoosier values and hospitality, we are building a campaign that can compete and we’re doing it without accepting any contributions from corporate PACs. Corporate money does not belong in politics. We all deserve an equal voice in our government. Corporations and wealthy special interests have flooded the system with money and have bought the politicians, drowning out the voices of everyday Hoosiers.
- I'm definitely not a career politician. I grew up in a small rural farming community, moved to South-Central Indiana in 2006 and have been actively involved in our community ever since. As a candidate and when I'm elected to the Indiana General Assembly, my only responsibility is to the citizens of Indiana House District 46, not to corporate donors or special interest groups.
- I am fiscally conservative but socially liberal. Love is love, marijuana shouldn't be listed as a schedule 1 drug next to heroin and meth, and we should protect our Hoosier farmland and forests. I am a supporter of the 2nd amendment, have a lifetime CCW permit and have worked as a first responder my entire adult life.

Unreachable, inactive and downright absent politicians are examples of poor leadership. I believe that our elected officials have a responsibility to their office and to the people that they serve.
Our Guiding Principles talk about how we work together, how we relate to each other, to our community, to our opponents. These principles are at the core of everything we do; they drive our decision making, they help us with our planning, and they guide us in our daily work. Our principles include Mutual Respect, Truth, Personal and Fiscal Responsibility and Community Involvement
