DWI charge (2025)

On May 21, 2025, Green was arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI) following an incident in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. Green allegedly ran off the roadway and struck a concrete barrier. Green and his children were not harmed in the collision. Following a field sobriety test and Green's refusal to submit to a breathalyzer test, he was arrested and charged with first-offense driving while intoxicated, three counts of driving while intoxicated with child endangerment, careless operation of a motor vehicle, and improper lane usage.[4]
On May 22, 2025, Green announced he was taking a leave of absence from the Louisiana House of Representatives.[5]
