My name is Kyle Myers, born and raised in Nevada. I have lived in Searchlight my entire life. My family has been here since 1930. As a 4th generation Searchlight resident, I am now raising my own family here.
Incumbent Justice of the Peace, Richard Hill, inspired me to get involved in my community throughout the course of a high school history project he assisted me with in 2012.
I was the first elected Searchlight Town Advisory Board member in the 2016 election and have held the seat ever since, serving as chairman and vice chairman.
I was also a member of the Harry Reid Elementary School, School Organizational Team for one term and have served on the Clark County Community Development Advisory Committee twice, helping Clark County the best I can.
Searchlight historian, Jane Overy, and I, formed the Searchlight Betterment Organization, a non-profit organization dedicated to the development of the Searchlight area. Completing numerous projects with local business and property owners as well as Clark County government.
- Fellow Residents, I am thrilled to announce my candidacy for the position of Justice of the Peace. I am a 4th generation Searchlight resident and care deeply about what is best for our community. I believe public service is a calling, not just another job. I am dedicated to upholding the principles of justice and making a positive impact on the lives of our neighbors.
- Through open dialogue I will work to build trust and ensure that our judicial system is responsive to the concerns of our residents.

My first full time job was a waiter/cook at the Searchlight Nugget Casino from 2010 to 2022 before being asked to assume Casino Manager for all Searchlight casinos in January of 2022.
