|I started serving at the age of fourteen at the Casino at Lakemont Park in Altoona. I served at various restaurants and worked my way up as a trainer before the age of seventeen. When I went to college, I worked three serving jobs in Altoona and would drive home every Friday for work. I worked 9pm-4am at Denny’s and would usually start my shift at 9am at Bob Evans. I would fit in serving for the Casino around the other two jobs.
At 21, I decided to change direction and began working in the Medical Marijuana industry as a Cannabis Consultant. I stayed in the industry for two years but decided to pursue a more hands-on approach to helping our community. I currently work as a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) in Blair County, sharing my mental health recovery with our community members to inspire hope, self-determination, and recovery.
- I support quality, affordable healthcare and recovery services.
- Marijuana needs to be legalized in PA. We will bring in a lot of revenue not only for the Commonwealth, but our farmers as well.
- I support fully funding public education in Pennsylvania. I also support free meals for students that are attending ANY (Public and Private) K-12 school in Pennsylvania.
My mom has one of the strongest work ethics ever and she is selfless. When someone needs help, she helps them. She hates getting rewards for helping. She just does it because it is natural to her.
She spends a majority of her time working as a CNA at a Veteran's home. I have gotten to speak to some of her coworkers who always brag about my mom's work ethic and kind heart. In her free time, she cleans houses and tries to help our older community members.
In 2012, Memo voted for Obama!
It is important that we have representation for all members of our communities and by requiring previous experience in politics/government, we would be limiting that representation.
