Biography
Kym Taylor was born in Washington, D.C.. Taylor earned a bachelor's degree from George Washington University in 1986 and a graduate degree from Atlanta University in 1988. Her career experience includes owning Family Choice Healthcare and working as a legislative aide with the Maryland State Senate. Taylor has been affiliated with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., The Links, Inc., Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Step Afrika!, the Association for the Study of African American Life and History, Prince George's County Chamber of Commerce, the Maryland National Capital Homecare Association, Prince George's Senior Provider Network, Prince George's County Advisory Committee on Aging, Prince George's County Public Schools Career and Technical Education Advisory Board, and Prince George's County Public Schools Health and BioSciences Advisory Board.[1][2]
