L.E. Hutton is a judge of the Florida 4th Circuit Court. He assumed office on January 2, 2024. His current term ends on January 5, 2027.

He was appointed to the court on December 20th, 2023, by Ron DeSantis (R) to replace Don Lester.

Biography

Hutton began his legal career with the State Attorney’s Office, Fourth Circuit in 1998 as Assistant State Attorney. Then, he joined the law firm of Willis, Ferebee & Hutton in 2001 where he continued his 16-year criminal law career representing clients at the state and federal level before returning to the State Attorney’s Office in 2017. [1] He earned both his Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor from the University of Florida. [2]
