L. Arnoldo Saenz was the judge for the Jim Wells County Court in Texas. He ran for re-election in 2014 but was defeated in the runoff on May 27.[1][2][3]

Saenz ran for re-election to the Jim Wells County Court.
Primary: He was successful in the Democratic primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 45.6 percent of the vote. He competed against Larry Martinez and Petro Trevino, Jr..
Runoff: Because no candidate received more than 50% of the vote, Saenz faced Trevino in a runoff election on May 27, 2014. He was defeated, earning 47.7% of the vote.

Saenz was re-elected after running unopposed.[5]
