L. E. Henson
L.E. Henson was a candidate for an at-large seat on the Cleveland County Board of Education in North Carolina. In the general election on November 3, 2015, he was defeated.[1][2]
Biography
At the time of the 2015 election, Henson had worked as a computer and electronics engineer for over 37 years. He had also served as the CEO of the Neighborhood Revitalization Committee.[3]

Five of the nine seats on the Cleveland County Schools school board were up for at-large general election on November 3, 2015.
Incumbents Roger Harris, Richard Hooker Jr., and Shearra B. Miller won re-election to their seats. The other two seats on the ballot were won by Jo Boggs and Jeff Jones. Harris, Hooker, Miller, Boggs, and Jones defeated George Falls, Yvette D. Grant, William Gray, Darius Griffin, Hal Hastings, L. E. Henson, Nikki Ledford, Ray Lockhart, Howard Mcleod, Howard Thompson Jr., Robert Queen, and incumbent Jerry D. Hoyle.[4][2][5]
