L. Jack Lutz
L. Jack Lutz (b. December 26, 1945) is a former Republican member of the Indiana House of Representatives, representing District 35 from 1991 to 2014. He previously served on the Madison County Council from 1983-1991.

Elections for the Indiana House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 6, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 7, 2014. Melanie Wright was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent L. Jack Lutz was unopposed in the Republican primary. Wright defeated Lutz in the general election.[1][2]

2012
Lutz won re-election in the 2012 election for Indiana House of Representatives District 35. Lutz ran unopposed in the May 8 Republican primary and defeated Melanie Wright (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[3][4]
2010
Lutz defeated Democratic candidate Pat Smith by a margin of 13,671 to 7,621 in the November 2 general election.[5]
In the May 4 primary election, Lutz ran unopposed and received 4,290 votes. [6]

On November 4, 2008, Republican L. Jack Lutz won re-election to the Indiana House of Representatives District 35 receiving 17,126 votes, ahead of Democrat Lee Ann Mengelt who received 13,180 votes.[7]

Lutz is a member of the Anderson Chamber of Commerce, Exchange Club of Anderson, Fellowship Lodge, President of the Indiana-Kentucky District Exchange Club and member of the Noon Exchange Club.[9]
