L. Sarah DeMerchant (Democratic Party) ran for election to the Texas House of Representatives to represent District 76. She lost in the Democratic primary on March 1, 2022.
Biography
L. Sarah DeMerchant graduated from Willowridge High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration in computer information systems from the University of Houston at Downtown and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Houston at Victoria. DeMerchant's career experience includes working as a securities officer with a software company.[1] She is an executive with the World Youth Foundation.[2]
