A LaCrosse School District Levy Addition measure was on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the LaCrosse school district area which is in Whitman and Adams Counties.

This measure was approved

This measure sought to add to the current school levy by a rate of $2.59 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to further pay for facility improvements, technology upgrades and new equipment buying in the district.[2]

The question on the ballot:

LaCrosse School District #126 Joint with Adams County #87 Special Election Proposition #1 The Board of Directors of LaCrosse School District #126 adopted Resolution No. 10-11-06 concerning a Educational Capital Project Levy. The proposition would authorize the modernization, renovation and improvement of the existing facilities, including technology infrastructure, and the acquisition of equipment; and authorize the District to levy the following excess taxes on all taxable property within the District. Approximate Levy Collection Rate/$1,000: $2.59 Levy Year: 2012-2017 Assessed Value: $366,666. All as provided in District Resolution No. 10-11-06. Should this proposition be approved?[3]
