I am a native Detroiter and a lifetime Wayne County resident. I graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of law in 2010. I have been practicing law for twelve years in the areas of Criminal, Juvenile, Family, Civil, Prosecution, and Labor Law. I currently work for the City of Detroit, Law Department as a Senior Assistant Corporation Counsel. I am also a mediator/case evaluator for Mediation Tribunal Association. As a mediator, I hear arguments from attorneys and place a monetary value on the lawsuit to foster settlement. I have appeared in the Michigan and Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. I helped to implement the City of Detroit's Project Clean Slate program which allows ex-offenders to have their records expunged to re-enter the workforce. I am a lifelong public servant. I am actively involved in the Community with several organizations such as Boys & Girls Clubs of SE Michigan, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., Salvation Army, NAACP, and various organizations working with youth.
  • I plan to restore trust to the justice system by being fair, understanding, impartial, and will allow everyone the right to be heard.
  • I plan to educate the public regarding court procedures and ensure that I am a assessible to the 43 Wayne County cities that I serve.
  • I plan to be committed to diversity and inclusion in the courts and participate on task forces created to make the court more transparent and accessible to the public.
As a Judicial Candidate, I am bound by the Judicial Canons and thus prohibited from discussing political issues.
