LaMar Lemmons Jr.
LaMar Lemmons Jr. (Democratic Party) was a member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing District 2. Lemmons assumed office in 2005. Lemmons left office on January 1, 2011.
Lemmons (Democratic Party) ran for election to the Wayne County Commission to represent District 3 in Michigan. Lemmons lost in the Democratic primary on August 2, 2022.
Biography
A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Rep. Lemmons moved to Detroit in 1950. Lemmons is the father of four children and served in the House along with his oldest son, LaMar Lemmons III.
