A La Conner School District No. 311 Bond proposition was approved on the February 12, 2013 election ballot in Skagit County, which is in Washington.
This proposition authorized the La Conner School District to increase its debt by $20,693,000 by issuing general obligation bonds in that amount. This money would be used to fund major renovations and upgrades to the school facilities of the District. These bonds would mature within 20 years.[1]

| “ | The Board of Directors of La Conner School District No. 311 adopted Resolution No. CPF2012-01 concerning this proposition for bonds. This proposition would authorize the District to undertake major renovations and upgrades to its elementary, middle school and high school buildings, including energy conservation and life-safety improvements, to issue $20,693,000 of general obligation bonds maturing within a maximum of 20 years, and to levy excess property taxes annually replacing the existing bond levy expiring in 2014 to repay the bonds, as provided in Resolution No. CPF2012-01.
