A City of La Puente Marijuana Business License Tax, Measure M ballot question was on the November 2, 2010 ballot for voters in the City of La Puente in Los Angeles County. It was approved.
Measure M imposed an annual business license tax of 10% per $1,000 of gross receipts on marijuana products sold within the city.
Measure N, on the same ballot, also proposed adding a new tax on marijuana.

Measure M: Shall an ordinance be adopted to require a Cannabis Business to pay an annual business license tax in the amount of 10% per $1,000 of gross receipts to provide for general municipal services, such as law enforcement and fire services, animal control, code enforcement, building inspection, plan checks, planning and public works?[1] |
