In general no.

In general, this is something that must be looked at on a case by case basis. It depends on how previous experiences and job performance.

However like many, if not most, things in life, there are trade offs. It's beneficial in limiting the learning curve and the ability to leverage relationships to get work done

The Founding Fathers never intended the establishment of a political class but rather citizen legislators. So we should give serious consideration to term limits.

I am a proponent of term limits
I am not a current member of party leadership and if it's not of particular interest at this point. However, this is likely to change once I learn more about the influence and effectiveness of the various leadership positions.
I terms of leadership, vision, intelligence, and effectiveness, Newt Gringich is a good role modet.
I was involved in the teaching and tutoring of reading and math to K-12. One single mother single mother in a low paying job enrolled her three children ages 7 through 12 in our program. The public school bus would drop the students off at the learning center each day. She would ride the bus from work each day to pick them up and then take them on the 30 minute ride home.

There was a pending bus strike. When asked how she would get to work in case the strike came to fruition, how would she get to work..She indicated she would get her bike fixed to make the 25-mile round trip to work each day.

Later, she came to us to let us know she could barely read or write and was embarrassed to let her children to know. When offered she readily agreed to sign up for the program and have individual teaching in a separate room.

I loved her commitment to family, work ethic, attitude, as well as the value placed on education...especially the part on riding her bike to work. Seeing those values in her smiling children made it even more special.
