Laddie Shaw (Republican Party) was a member of the Alaska House of Representatives, representing District 9. He assumed office on January 17, 2023. He left office on January 21, 2025.

Shaw (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Alaska House of Representatives to represent District 9. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Biography

Laddie Shaw was born in Landshut, Germany, and lives in Anchorage, Alaska. He graduated from Flint Northern High School in Flint, Michigan. Shaw served as an Active Duty Navy Seal from 1968 to 1977, later serving in the Naval Reserve and the Alaska Army National Guard. He earned a B.A. in recreation administration/rehabilitation from San Diego State University and an MPA from the University of Alaska Southeast. Shaw’s career experience includes working as an emergency response specialist for the Alaska State Troopers. He served as the Alaska director of veterans affairs from 1999 to 2003.[1]
