A Lake Park High School District 108 Property Tax Limitation Increase proposition was defeated on the April 9, 2013 election ballot in DuPage County, which is in Illinois.
If approved, this measure would have authorized the Lake Park Community High School District to increase property taxes to 3%.[1]

Language on the ballot:
“ | Shall the extension limitation under the Property Tax Extension Limitation Law for Lake Park Community High School District
Number 108, DuPage County, Illinois, be increased from the lesser of 5% or the percentage increase in the Consumer Price Index over the prior levy year, to 3% for the 2013 levy year? For the 2013 levy year the approximate amount of the additional tax extendable against property containing a single family residence and having a fair market value at the time of the referendum of $100,000 is estimated to be $5.84.[1][2] |
