Lakefield Township Road Levy Renewal (August 2012)
A Lakefield Township Road Levy Renewal measure was on the August 7, 2012 ballot in the township of Lakefield, which is in Saginaw County.
This measure sought to renew the current road levy which is set at a rate of $2 per $1,000 of assessed value for a further ten years in order to continue to pay for road maintenance an repair costs in the township. It was approved.

Text of measure
The question on the ballot:
Shall the previously voted increase in the tax limitation imposed under Article IX Section 6, of the Michigan Constitution on general ad valorem taxes within Lakefield Township be renewed at two (2) mills ($2.00 per $1,000.00 of taxable value) for the period of 2013 through 2022 inclusive, to provide funds to maintain, repair, and replace the roads and bridges of said township; and shall the township levy such renewal in millage for said purpose thereby raising, in the first year, an estimated $58,389.00.[1][2] |
