A Lakeview School District bond election was on the August 5, 2008 ballot in the Lakeview public school district, located in Calhoun County in Michigan, where it was defeated.
The election was scheduled by a vote of the district's school board.
The ballot question facing voters was whether to approve new district indebtedness of $55.46 million for the purposes of "Erecting, furnishing and equipping two new elementary schools, acquiring and installing educational technology improvements and developing and improving sites and playgrounds."
