Lamont Barnett
Lamont Barnett was an assistant judge of the superior court in Windham County, Vermont. He was appointed to the court by Governor Peter Shumlin in August 2012.[1] Barnett was unsuccessful in his 2014 bid for re-election and stepped down from the bench at the end of his term on January 31, 2015.[2][3]

Barnett ran for re-election to the Vermont Superior Courts, as an assistant judge of Windham County.
Primary: He was defeated in the Democratic primary on August 26, 2014, receiving 23.4 percent of the vote. He competed against Patricia W. Duff and Paul Kane.
