Lamont Repollet
Lamont Repollet is a former acting New Jersey commissioner of education. He was nominated by Governor Phil Murphy (D) on January 12, 2018, and appointed acting commissioner by the state Board of Education on January 29, 2018.[1] Repollet resigned from office on July 1, 2020, to become president of Kean University.[2]
Biography
Repollet served as the superintendent of the Asbury Park School District from 2014 to 2018.[1] He previously worked as a principal at Carteret High School and Columbus Elementary School and as an assistant principal at Irvington High School. He began his career as a teacher in the East Orange School District in 1996.[3]
