A "yes" vote supported authorizing the city to levy an additional 2% hotel tax, thereby increasing the hotel tax rate in the city from 7% to 9% and generating an estimated $642,537.23 per year. |
A "no" vote opposed authorizing the city to levy an additional 2% hotel tax, thereby leaving the hotel tax rate in the city at 7%. |
A simple majority was required for the approval of Measure B.
