Lance Hamner was a judge for the Johnson County Superior Court in Indiana. He was elected in 2008 and took office in January 2009.[1] He was re-elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that expired on December 31, 2020.[2] He resigned from the bench on February 3, 2022 to run for political office.[3]

Hamner ran for re-election to the Johnson County Superior Court.
Primary: He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on May 6, 2014.

Education

Hamner received a B.S. from Weber State University and a J.D. from Indiana University School of Law - Bloomington.[1]

Career

Prior to his election to the court, Hamner was the Johnson County prosecutor. He also served as deputy prosecutor in Marion County and a litigation attorney at Barnes & Thornburg. Hamner has also been an adjunct professor at Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington.[1]
