Lance Trollop

Lance Trollop is an at-large representative on the Wausau School District school board in Wisconsin. First elected in 2011, Trollop won a new term in the at-large general election on April 4, 2017.

Three of the nine seats on the Wausau School District Board of Education were up for at-large general election on April 4, 2017. In their bids for re-election to the board, incumbents Yvonne Henning, Jeff Leigh, and Lance Trollop ran against challengers Jeff Kocha and Lee Webster.[1] Henning died on March 12, 2017. Her name still appeared on the ballot.[2] Leigh and Trollop won re-election to the board, and Webster won the other seat on the ballot.[3]

Funding
Trollop filed an exemption statement detailing he would not spend or receive more than $2,000 toward his campaign. Because of this, he did not have to file additional campaign finance reports.[4]
Endorsements
Trollop was endorsed by the Wisconsin AFL-CIO and the Wisconsin Alliance for Retired Americans.[5][6]

Three at-large board incumbents were up for re-election in the 2014 general election. Yvonne Henning, Robb A. Shepherd and Lance R. Trollop terms were set to expire in April 2014. Shepherd did not file to run for re-election. Trollop and Henning faced challengers Chad Dennis, A.J. Gordon, Jeff Leigh and Mary Kowatch in the general election. Both incumbents retained their seats, and Leigh joined the board to take Shepherd's open seat.[7]
