What would be your top three priorities, if elected?
“ | 1) Strengthening public schools and support for higher education. 2) Protecting Social Security and Medicare for a secure future for seniors. |
” |
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about? Why?
“ | Education puts the building blocks in place for future generations and for the future of our country. We must not allow public education to be dismantled in order to supplement private education for the wealthiest among us. We must make vocational and higher education more affordable. We need a new Congress who will be more determined to spend an extra 25 billion dollars as the present Congress is determined to spend it on a wall. The security of our future depends upon being prepared to compete in the world. We must re-establish this as one of our highest priorities.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; invalid names, e.g. too many[4]
