Milton earned a Ph.D. from Pennsylvania State University. He served as an educator in Atlanta Public Schools, an assistant principal of a high school in Kansas City, a middle school principal in the Houston Independent School District, and the executive director of 13 schools in the Greater New Orleans Area. Milton next became the performance and continuous improvement manager (PCIM) in Houston ISD. He was also a member of the American Evaluation Association.[1]

Opposition

Three of the seven seats—Positions 3, 4 and 5—on the Klein Independent School District Board of Trustees were up for general election on November 3, 2015. The seats are elected at large.

Position 3 incumbent William Pilkington saw the only contested race on the ballot. Jamie Fuselier, Chester Hicks and Lannie Milon Jr. filed to contest Pilkington's re-election bid. However, Pilkington was successful in securing another term on the board. Position 4 incumbent Steve Szymczak and Position 5 incumbent Ronnie Anderson won re-election unopposed.[2]
