A Largo City Property Tax Exemption Question was on the November 6, 2012 ballot in the city of Largo, which is in Pinellas County, where it was approved.

This measure sought to allow for property tax exemptions for new or expanding businesses in the city. The property tax exemptions would not be guaranteed for businesses, the city would go on a case by case basis to determine property tax exemptions. Some members of the city council did not agree to this measure stating that the city budget is already tight so allowing for less taxes would hurt the city. But other members stated that giving residents the chance to vote yes or no is the better option rather than not allowing a vote.[1][2]
