Larry Butler (Connecticut)
Larry Butler (Democratic Party) is a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing District 72. He assumed office in 2007. His current term ends on January 6, 2027.
Butler (Democratic Party, Independent Party) ran for re-election to the Connecticut House of Representatives to represent District 72. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Butler's professional experience includes working as a computer software designer. He is a member and Vice-Chairman of the 72nd District Democratic Town Committee, and served on the Board of Aldermen from 1996-2000 and 2002-2006.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 10, 2014. Incumbent Larry B. Butler was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Ruben Rodriguez was unopposed in the Republican primary. Butler defeated Rodriguez and Richard J. On November 4, 2008, Butler won re-election to the Connecticut House of Representatives from Connecticut's 72nd District, defeating Joseph Perugini, Jr. (I). Butler received 4,272 votes in the election while Perugini received 600 votes.[8] Butler raised $16,800 for his campaign.[9]
