Larry D. Jefferson is a judge of the Louisiana 4th Judicial District Court. He assumed office on January 1, 2015. His current term ends in 2026.
Jefferson (Democratic Party) ran in a special election for judge of the Louisiana 2nd Circuit Court of Appeal 1st District. He lost in the special primary on March 20, 2021.
Biography
Jefferson received his undergraduate degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and his law degree from the American University, Washington College of Law.[1]

Primary: He was elected in the primary on November 4, 2014, receiving 61.1 percent of the vote. He competed against Sophia Dixon Brown and James Ross.[2][3]
